It is curious that here appears quite Oriental reading: نعمه f.246r 1Thes 1:1 (and not امتنان as passim). As well as امم infra f.249v 1Thes 4:5 (and not اجناس).
Another curious reading is شخوص f.247r 1Thes 2:9 μόχθον .
It is attested in Sin.Ar.155 and renders a nearly synonimous word.
I wonder if these are traces of another translation of Oriental origin...

Now I'm wondering: should it not be شحوص ?
شحصت is attested in Vat.Ar. 13 (1 Co 15:10, folio 116v)

... as well as in 2Cor 11:27 κόπῳ (الشحص (بالحاء المهملة Vat.Ar.13 f.129r.
But 2Cor 11:23 κόποις Sin.Ar.155 f.85r & 2Cor 11:27 κόπῳ Sin.Ar.155 f.85v read (شخوص (بالخاء المعجمة ... The dots are discernable perfectly well...
